TRAUMA.ORG is an independent, non-profit organisation

providing global education, information and communication

resources for professionals in trauma and critical care.

The American Association for the Surgery of Trauma Webnet is provided to promote the exchange of scientific information regarding all phases of the care of the trauma patient. This will include prevention activities, prehospital care, resuscitation, operative care, critical care, rehabilitation and trauma system design. A variety of formats will be available ranging from lists of available resources, hyper text links to trauma resources, e-mail addresses of trauma providers, publishing of scientific data, and discussion lists.

The Eastern Association for the Surgery of Trauma is a not for profit organization organized to furnish leadership and foster advances in the care of injured patients. The organization affords a forum for the exchange of knowledge pertaining to the care and rehabilitation of the injured patient. Additionally, the organization stimulates investigation and teaching in methods of treating and preventing injury from all causes. The organization is dedicated to the study of the practice of surgery of trauma patients by establishing lectureships, scholarships, and foundations to promote, reward, and recognize individuals working in the field of injury and injury control.
